I think people are really undervaluing Kyrie. He may be the best PG in the game in the next year or two.

I would hope so, he has a top 2 player in the league playing along-side him. He won't be the focus of every defense.

His PER36 numbers have stayed relatively the same in the last 3 years and that's why people tend to not include him in the superstar PG category.

Superstars tend to constantly improve. He's never done that.

Look at CP3's PER 36 #'s
.430/.282/.847
.437/.350/.818
.488/.369/.851
and averaged .482/.367/.868 since

16.1ppg/5.1rpg/7.8apg/2.3tov
16.9ppg/4.3rpg/8.7apg/2.5tov
20.2ppg/3.8rpg/11.1apg/2.4tov
and averaged 18.8ppg/4.3rpg/10.1apg/2.4tov since

Kyrie's #s have been
.469/.399/.872
.452/.391/.855
.430/.358/.861

21.8ppg/4.4rpg/6.4apg/3.7tov
23.3ppg/3.8rpg/6.2apg/3.4tov

Chalmers said he was shocked to see James return to Cleveland after four seasons in Miami. The two have spoken since, with Chalmers wishing well his former teammate. He was among the closest players to James.

“We were surprised,” Chalmers said. “I never thought anybody would want to leave Miami for Cleveland but you grow up and you move on. That’s what happened and there’s no love lost.”

He had rough start last year which skewed his stats for most of the year. Teams were doubling him off the pick and roll to force a pass. Mike Brown tried to run the offense through Bynum and then Tristan Thompson.. it was ugly.
