When I tried the S4 last year they didn't work all the time. It's definitely a bummer that Samsung, instead of fixing what was wrong with the S4 chose to chase after Apple with 64 bit architecture that no one is using, and a finger print sensor that is a joke compared to TouchID.
It's really baffling. They do so many things well and then do a terrible job with other things.

The M8 is $99 at AT&T with a two year contract right now.

wow lots of hate for the gs5. I must be in the minority and really like mine since I've upgraded from the gs3. yea it's plastic but I found it much easier to hold than the htc m8 and it won't get scratched to hell. There's a removable battery which is a plus. Some people are complaining about lag but I haven't experienced any of that. Just go to a store and mess around with a bunch of different ones and see which one works for you.

I agree with dlmast87. I can't figure out why it catches so much hate. I can't find one reason to complain about mine.
