I think that is greatly over simplification on his part and plays to ignorance. I don't think war is the answer to all problems but the powerful sitting on the sideline while two peoples fight to the death wouldn't exactly fit jesus's love for one another either.

Had a lot of hope for him. But it seems he is on a self destruction path.

He is about to lose my vote.
