I think in Ms there is no election recount rather a court has to declare the election invalid. Doubt a new election would help McDaniel though-he'll probably lose by a bigger margin. His actions and words haven't helped his image.

It certainly won't help Cochran either when it is publicized how he only won last time thanks to blatant pandering to Democrats who won't possibly vote for him in November.

Hell, you've got at least one preacher in Jackson who has taken responsibility for the "McDaniels is racist!" flyers and robo-calls.


The free shite army will still vote for Cochran, but I think a lot of Republicans in the state would hold their nose and vote for McDaniels because they're pissed at the Democrats trying to pick their candidate.
