It's still a service, one we all paid for. There's some legitimate concerns with this class. I've known LSUS to have some excellent quality over the years. I'm passionate because I love LSUS. Dr. Shaughnessy was one of the best teachers I've ever had (in undergrad). His approach to micro- and macroeconomics was fantastic. In fact, most of the business professors in undergrad were great.
I'm reaching out to see who else is having the same issue. Unfortunately, I'm finding them. Not just here, but elsewhere as well.
Also, to get some conversation going. Being shut down without addressing any concerns is itself concerning. Could it be the ramblings of one pissed off man? Sure, it's the internet. But if others are experiencing the same thing and just aren't talking about it, or too scared to jeopardize their potential degree, yeah, I'll take one for the team. Have you ever been so disappointed in something you cherish? Because that's how I feel right now. Could that be ego? Sure, but I'm also trying to differentiate from young students who've only known academia. To provide some background and credentials so my argument has more weight. If that comes across as egoistic, then that was certainly not the intent, but I can see how it could be misinterpreted as such.

I moved from the American Public University MBA program because I also suffered the frustration that I didn't feel I was learning anything from text only based lectures and the use of youtube videos that the professor didn't even check to see if were still available each semester.
However I did learn my lesson and spent a bunch of time on rate my professor prior to picking up my first course at LSUS which was also FIN701 but with Kendall, I would have liked less text and more video explanations but the practice problems and the solutions were very helpful. I hope if you decide to continue you have better luck.
