The PMP is the hardest test I've taken since the SAT/ACT. I took a PMP prep class on Udemy (the most popular one), and it helped me understand exactly *how* to read the PMBOK. So, after going through the videos (at 2x speed because the guy spoke REALLY slowly), I then went through the PMBOK front to back. I took 3 hours and 20 minutes to complete the test, but I passed with flying colors. I, like you, have taken lots of certification exams successfully with little to no preparation, but this is absolutely not one of those tests. The questions are extremely situational, such as "X, Y and Z has taken place. What is the next step you need to take in the project?" Two of the answers are easily seen as wrong, but the other two are both seemingly correct, where one is THE next step and the other is the step after next.
