for the love of god, why do people keep saying live and let die? That was my favorite when I was 12. It's campy and dated.

Some people will keep in mind the time that a movie was filmed and released when judging a film. If Dr. No was released today it would appear to be amateurish. But in the 60's it launched an entire genre. I'm not going to dismiss it just because it doesn't have the special effects or realistic dialogue of a modern Bond film.

It gets a pass for having a ridiculous script because it was made in a certain year? Sorry, not buying it. I still enjoy it, but I take it with a grain of salt. I'll say that Moore was badass in it, and the boat chase is epic. Definitely not a bad one. But I'm convinced most people posting here have never seen more than a handful of bond movies.
