THese guys wouldn't even be in discussion if we stopped playing War games over there. They hate us because we go over there and put in a Government that we like, and they see it as a threat to their traditional religion and practices. Sure they are violent and practically insane, but if we just left them alone and stopped interfering then they'd be no problem to us. Like every human being, they love money. No matter who is in charge, they will sell us oil.

Our biggest problem is immigration. Hordes of immigrants coming over looking for a free ride, and a rapidly changing demographic. 3rd world people will gladly give up freedom for state sponsored safety at the expense of others. If we don't get our borders closed and cut off some welfare and get the economy back on track, then we're toast within the next 25 years. Everything will collapse and who knows what will emerge from the collapse. Maybe it'd take care of itself and we would keep our Constitution intact and just start over. Maybe we'd lose it all and end up in full tyranny. I don't want to find out honestly
