Our kids are big so no issues with that but we have had puppies come to visit and when my kids would show them attention Sherman wouldn't growl or bark or show his teeth (he never ever does any of that) but he would quietly put his head into the other dogs butt and push him across the hardwood and then sit down in the exact spot the puppy was. It was comical being that it was another dog.
