why? a bama fan makes fun of Miami for having a lot of bandwagon fans. Alabama has a good amount of bandwagon fans.
of course both have real fans as well, just making the point that a fan of a football program with a good amount of bandwagon fans shouldn't be calling out another team that has a lot of bandwagon fans

Alabama had one of the biggest, most rabid fanbases in the country.
The Heat had one of the worst.
Then Alabama and the Heat each got a "superstar" (Saban and LeBron) and won multiple titles. And predictably a lot of folks jumped on board, just as they would for any program or team in the country.
When the Heat dynasty ends, they will go back to being one of the worst fanbases in their sports.
When Alabama's dynasty ends, it will continue to be one of the largest most rabid fanbases in its sports.
It's a terrible comparison
