I just do not understand why people celebrate when we put more people on a government program. It's as if these true believers believe there is no free market solution.
Also, I'd be interested to see polls about how Louisianan residents view medicaid expansion. Once Virginians were told about the immense long term costs, support went down. Jindal is not only governor for the poor, the rich, film companies, he is governor of all LA residents. If the majority do not want more medicaid, then he is doing his job. It is not his job to serve a distinct group (the rich or the poor or anyone else), at the expense of all other groups.
