As for Conley and Lowry, no doubt they have gotten better. Tons of players do. Neither will ever be super stars. Name me a player that has reached super star status in their 9th year? Lowry just had a career year..in his 9th season. I just don't get how these guys have anything to do with the discussion.

This guy gets it. I'd argue there are only 3-4 superstars in the league right now: Lebron, Durant, Kobe, and Duncan (he at least was, don't know if he still counts). I think it all really depends on what your definition of a superstar is. I think Paul and Love are close to being top 5 players in the league, and I wouldn't even call them superstars because Paul has never made a conference finals and Love has never even made the playoffs.

yea, that was my next question? how many superstars does he think are in the NBA?

Cause it seems he's being pretty liberal with that title

along with the ones youve mentioned, id prob throw in Derrick Rose, Carmelo, and maybe Dwight Howard into the mix. CP3 is def a superstar in my eyes. So in conclusion, there are maybe 10 in the whole league.

If you count a guy who hasn't played significantly in a year or more, with an inferior career, it is hard not to include Duncan.
