You think he did that show on his own?
That was a massive group effort, and many of the stars were his friends. These shows have huge staffs. His fricking standup routine did not command fifty million, Clayton Bigsby, Rick James, et al., did.

The racial shite can get pretty heavy on that show and is Dave felt uncomfortable about it then he has every right to walk away.
