If your wife is capable of sex now, she's probably really venerable and scared. If she had something done that affected her physical appearance, I can assure you she's feeling down and is probably waiting for you to make her feel worthy of sex.

Have you tried talking with her and making her feel wanted? Just tell her that you love her and want to share yourself with her so you can feel closer. It's gotta be more than just sex when you explain it to her. Just keep a steady voice and remind her that she's beautiful and you love her and want to show it to her, and you'll both get what you want.

You have to do that with a lot of them after they have had a radical hystrectomy. You really have to work at assurring them that they are still just as much a woman now as before, and that you are still wanting them as much now as before. Not always easy and does take some effort. When they don't respond physically like they did before, you have to have a lot of patience with each other and re-explore things. I have seen some emerge from it ok, and some not.
