According to LSUsports.net, these are his stats from his starts:

Finished 7-of-14 for 77 yards and one TD against Appalachian State ... Went 10-for-17 for 125 yards and one interception against North Texas ... Finished 2-for-6 for 16 yards against Auburn
Those teams weren't exactly top-notch quality during the 2008 season. Auburn let go of Tubs at the end of the season and fired their OC about half way through the season. App. State and North Texas are self-explanatory.
