Every time I see a thread about places to eat/drink in Nola it amazes me how terrible some of the suggestions are from people who think they really know. Most of the suggestions in this thread thus far are the same that a jorts wearing tourist from Ohio would suggest.

Why don't you drop some knowledge then instead of bashing other people's suggestions?
