Is wired better than Wi-Fi? I'm not real happy with my Wi-Fi streaming and I'm thinking about running a CAT5 cable to my TV.
Thx

Connect the cable. It's worth the lack of visual aesthetics.

No need to run a cable. Use your power outlet. I have three of these.
Netgear Powerline 500 Mbps + Wi-Fi
Netgear Powerline 500 Mbps + Wi-Fi

I personally didn't have much luck with the powerline... I am using and have great success with a MOCA setup using your cable wires most homes have already. LINK
You need one for each device you want to connect to and also need one to connect to your router (unless your router has MOCA capabilities built in).

I tried electrical six or so years ago with not much success. These new models, though, work great.
