If he was intoxicated then he deserves to be punished fully by the law. HOWEVER, i do not necessarily think this makes him a TPOS. What he did was terrible, but it was something im sure he would love to take back. I do not think there was malice and intention to do this

I agree. When I was 17 I did all sorts of stupid shite that I could be in jail for.

Anyone who drinks is lying if they say they have never gotten behind the wheel when they shouldn't have. I don't anymore but in high-school and college, it was a problem. I'm lucky I never hurt anyone or myself acting so foolishly.

To lsupride87 - If the driver was legally intoxicated, then, my dear sir, he is TPOS. You might consider yourself to be a great sort of fellow, but if you did the same thing, you, too, would be a TPOS. It's common knowledge that drinking and driving can lead to fatal accidents. This guy decided to try it, anyway. His attitude was "To hell with anyone else who happened to be on the road" at the same time.
