I think they needed to lose a game somewhere. It might as well have been here. Just need to win tonight and get back on track.

I really didn't see any Houston pitcher that dominated LSU like some have throughout this season. There were numerous occasions where LSU batters ripped the ball well--just to Houston fielders--who were at the right place at the right time--or who made great plays. I also believe that the LSU players had the "Well, if we lose this one, we still have another" mindset not unlike some of the other teams in winner brackets in the Regionals. I remember a time in 2009 when another Texas team, the Longhorns (who had won game 2 and thought they had the momentum), met a juggernaut in LSU who put on a hitting clinic. I'm looking for the Tigers to take care of business tonight.
