re: Better for the US: Have a winner in the Germany/Portugal match or a draw?

imho, it would be better if we win vs. Ghana, that Germany wins by 3 or 4 goals ( bigger the better ) then, even if we lost to Portugal by 1 goal we would still both be on 3 points and Germany would be on 6 and have a big goal differential, and they would essentially be coasting in the final game, already having locked up first place.( with a huge goal differential ) Of course if we draw with Portugal and have a 4 point to 1 point advantage with a huge goal difference for CRZ & company to make up, we would be sitting pretty win, lose or draw vs. Germany.

I know that sounds complicated, but I think we want Germany to win big, especially since we play them last. If we played Portugal last and Germany 2nd I would probably hope for a big Portugal win.
