What is the terrain like? Is it possible to push a stroller through the thing?
Edit: any other stroller friendly activities.
Never been to the swamp, though.

a lot of boardwalk and pebble walkways. you can push a stroller, but it's probably be easier if it was a stroller with big wheels

Try the zoo ... it's all paved and lots of shady spots. And the admission is pretty cheap. Also, you could go around the LSU lakes. We push our kids around there all the time.

Bluebonnet Swamp has boardwalks and some limestone paths
Cohn Arboretum in Baker is all concrete and FREE
Tickfaw State Park is mostly boardwalks through swamp - $5 per car entrance fee
LSU Hilltop Arboretum on Highland has boardwalks and limestone through woods and is FREE
Mike the Tiger cage at LSU
Levee paths downtown BR after 5:00 - not much shade
Antioch Park near Jones Creek is all concrete paths through woods
BR Zoo
Gardens around LA State Capital building also stroller friendly and shaded
