You make a good point, ffishstik. How in the world could the toughest conference in America wind up with only one national seed?
Ole Miss probably did us a HUGE favor by pulling an Ole Miss and tanking in the tournament. Perhaps the same could be said for South Carolina and Vandy, too.
Hopefully, Okie State wins the B12 and USM can beat Rice tomorrow.
The funny thing is, this LSU team is so hot right now that I could see them going on the road and potentially winning a SR against anybody.
But, an Alex Box SR would be a lot more fun.

No question about it! Moreso than anything else, those three teams tanking in Hoover opened the door for us. Because coming into the tourney, they all had better positioning for a national seed than us
Going to Hoover, USC and Ole Miss were fighting for the national seed. Both failed and opened the door for LSU.
