Saw this on Netflix yesterday and it was surprisingly good. Very good. If you like movies like Arn, Braveheart, etc then it's a must see.
The movie featured impressive realism without ever falling into cliche. There's no super warrior princess, no tacked on love triangle, no cheesy speeches. It's bloody, gritty, and serious. You don't notice the low budget. It lacks the scale of Kingdom of Heaven or Braveheart but the story doesn't require anything more.
The acting was fine. The recognizable actors for me were Kate Mara, the guy who plays Tywin Lannister, and Paul Giammati who I loved as King John.
