He was really good here, but I think he really turned into one of the best linemen to play the game when he went to KC. Sometimes the best thing you can do for your career is go somewhere that you have to compete, in NO there really was such a lack of talent he didn't even have to try. He was the only symbol of consistency in an otherwise miserable time as a Saints fan.

It helps that he was the best player on the team by a wide margin when I started following the Saints as a kid. Also I'm partial to O-Lineman as that's what I played in High School.

Roaf was regarded as the best Olineman in the game while he was in NO. If anything, he GOT the job in KC by his NO rep alone.
