Explaining Corporate Loopholes to Uneducated Sheep

A friend of mine on facebook posted about how she hopes to one day own a iphone like the girl in front of her at the store who paid with food stamps. Her friend chimed in with this:
Someday I hope to not pay a single red cent in taxes. Like companies such as Verizon or Chuck E. Cheese. If all the corporate loopholes were closed and all the government subsidies were taken from billion dollar companies, we would have enough money in taxes to not only pay for food stamps for all the 47 million on food stamps for a year... but also fix the 35,000 bridges that need foundation repair. Poor people are NOT the problem.
Me: If they didn't have loopholes for billion dollar companies they would just relocate to countries that don't tax away their profits. you have to placate them otherwise millions of jobs go overseas.
Haaahaa.... are you serious? THEY'RE ALREADY OVERSEAS!! Those loopholes do nothing but protect their asses while WE pay for it. And you eat that shite up. Bless your heart...
Me: You claim they are already overseas yet Coca Cola still has its headquarters in Atlanta. Ford still has its headquarters in Detroit. Wal-mart still has its headquarters in Arkansas. They could very easily flee to other countries that don't demand certain salaries and benefits. Excessive taxation is the very reason louisiana is now Hollywood South which cost Los Angeles billions of dollars. You say we are the ones who pay for it. Unless you are in the 1% I severely doubt the money you pay in taxes in a calendar year covers what these companies pay out in medical benefits to a family of 2 alone.

Your first problem is arguing with fools on the Internet

If people didn't do that, Tigerdroppings would cease to exist. I like how her anger was directed at Chucke Cheese of all places.

When I see that talking point, I like to be more subtle. I express agreement with the lib. I complain about how Goldman Sachs and GE take billions in taxpayer dollars and pay no taxes. After all, being a Friend of Barack has its privileges.

Corporations have to make a profit before they are taxed.

That would just go over her head.
