Dad and three kids planning a ski vacation, none of us have ever been skiing. Kids are 7, 8 an 10, looking for someplace that is very kid friendly and that hiring help will be easy!

Park City is great for families with easy beginner terrain and great Ski Schools.
You can get a direct flight from New Orleans and it's less than 45 minutes from the Salt Lake airport.

Monarch, Keystone, or Winter Park would all be good places.

Those are good and easy ages for first time skiers. Your key will be to look for the best ski schools that last all day. Some places only do half days or partial days. Look for good all-day places and that will be your best bet. Be prepared for your kids to be ready to hit the slopes by day 3 and for you to be way behind them!

Winter Park.
Very good for beginners. I went from bunny slopes to back bowls there this year

Took wife, 11yr and 8yr old to Winter park, co for spring break this year. It was great. Good lodging, ski schools, not far from Denver airport. Great place to learn

And you don't have to deal with Loveland or Vail pass which is an added bonus

I've been to Beaver Creek the past 2 seasons and they have a fantastic and well run school. Keystone is also good and cheaper and closer.
