Y'all are ridiculous. In every country with large populations that speak another language they do this. You go to Paris and everyone speaks English, plenty of restaurants have English on their menu, and they have signage with English on it. It's because they want to have English speaking people come there. Just like sports teams want to tap into the growing Hispanic audience.

As for the Pelicans... No. There isn't enough history or Spanish speakers in New Orleans to warrant this. Maybe in Texas.

Except for the part where New Orleans was the capital of a Spanish colony for 40 years...
