Especially not a short grumpy coach, who often dawns crimson colored polos.

Bama obsession, once again.

I don't give a damn if he's grumpy, Saban is the best college football coach in the nation and I'd take him back in a heartbeat.

I had a feeling Saban would somehow be brought up in this thread.

He is a good coach, but the AD and some of the BOS were beginning to tire of his prima dona stuff, as well as his entertaining job offers at the end of every season. He was on the verge of taking his last shite with them before he resigned to go to the Dolphins. For some of the BOS it was actually a relief that it was over. The fact that he left the school high and dry by leaving so late did not set well with many. Some would take him back, but truth be told, I think the AD and search committee would look for another up and coming who could offer winning and stability. With Saban you would have winning, but you would always be waiting for the other shoe to drop as there would be no assurances of stability at the Head Coach position.

Ok maybe saban turned the program around, but Les has kept it going and has done a better job with the football team than saban! U can't go off the success saban has at bamma because they cheat, always have an always will! If we bought every recruit like they do an have the schedule they have we would probably be the 3 time undefeated NC! To me Les is Miles ahead of Saban all the way around!

without ESPN doing his recruiting and slive watching his back side , Saban would be a pretty good coach in the Mac right now . WAS YOU a FAN OF his at miami ?
