Schott came before the internet and social media, where everybody has an opinion and shite like this is magnified a million times. What Sterling said was absolutely tame compared to most of the stuff that happens in the world, its just that his words have incited lots of debate back and forth on a multitude of subjects, which is why the story doesn't go away. Hernandez didn't spark any debate, he is a stone killer. The kansas city linebacker and junior seau actually sparked more debate regarding suicide, depression and injuries.

IMO that was a very quite story given the nature of it all and having taken place near the KC facilities.
