I dont get how anyone cant see that on the anniversary of 9/11 the Benghazi attack was carried out as a planned event, way before the events in Cairo. It was 9/11 for Petes sake
And since Obama was giving them the cover of the video, the attackers ran with it
Which brings us back to the problem. Obama et al, used the video to cover up their ineptitude, and people like Rex bought into it
Gowdy will now, finally, get the opportunity to open some eyes. Thankfully, in time for the next elections. Which of course is reasonable, since the video story was used to hijack the previous election

A perfect storm;
- 9/11 in a lawless, weapons-saturated city in a Sunni Muslim country
- the release of an anti-American video on 9/10, calling for American blood
- Chris Stevens in town for the first time as American Ambassador
- election of Prime Minister scheduled for the following day, with jihadists and the Muslim Brotherhood having a vested interest in the outcome
Any one of those first three situations could have been reason enough to expect something might be in the works, combined with the knowledge that such an attack could effect the outcome of the last one, and it apparently did, as the overwhelming favorite lost.
