The second part is the most important. The fourth and fifth(if we keep 5) safeties are more special teamers than they are backups for the position(especially the 5th guy).

If he makes this team it will be on special teams play. We don't need another safety and with Byrd, Vaccaro, and Bush it's unlikely the 5th safety would even smell the field on defense unless it's a blowout or for the other reason I won't jinx us with by saying.

Most picks after the 3rd are more for special teams with the hope they can be more.

People have really gotten spoiled with our late round offensive gems.

If that's the case I would have taken Loston because he is definitely not afraid of sticking somebody.
