Progressive metal, I don't care what anyone on this board says, is the most enjoyable genre. The instrumentals are too notch and the singing is usually superb. That being said, some of the ones I'm fixing to list are instrumental and some just metal:


Intervals (Both)
Pomegranate Tiger (Instrumental)
Mandroid Echostar (Both)
Animals as Leaders (Instrumental)
Tesseract (both)

These are ALL very recent bands but I just thought I would run them by you just because a lot of these being listed are bands from older decades. These are also strictly prog. metal so remember that.

All those listed are of different style of Instrumentals and all fall into what I think you mean when you say Progressive.
