I got Lyme about 8 years ago from two small ticks. Got them while working around Merdian. Took about 4 weeks for it to show up. The next 2 months was a mother fricker.
ETA:
Your immune system goes HAM on your body. But Lyme is not the worst. Apparently, there's a hoofed allergy that is caused by a tick bite. You get it and no more beef for you.

damn I went turkey hunting a month ago this Monday and I pulled a tick off me. you got me alil nervous

The bite marks haven't turned into bulls eyes. How long does it take for them to do it? One of the bites is almost gone. If I go to hospital can they test me for Lyme now? Or does it take awhile before they are able to test it?
