There are plenty of entry-level jobs that will pay more than minimum wage. Hell, one will get a raise (albiet a small one) even at a fast-food restaurant after three months of good work. You have to be fricking up big-time to be stuck at 7.25 an hour.

Wait tables, FFS. You can make anywhere from 10-50 bucks an hour, depending on the restaurant.
