We call it cowboy coffee. And in my head it tastes way better than the shite at home.

We call "cowboy coffee" when you just dump the grounds directly into a pot of boiling water. Pull off of fire, sprinkle a little cold water on top - or eggshells if you got any - to force the grounds to drop to the bottom of the pot, and pour off the top. Some folks filter through a bandana, but that's for dudes.
It's surprisingly good, you just gotta resist talking that very last sip.

I agree. Not sure why and Im sure if I used the same perculator at the house that it wouldn't be as good.
