I agree that the guy is a horrible human being and conducted himself horribly.
But.....
I doubt the home defense laws wherever this happened say anything about having to be polite when shooting home invaders.
He should not have been convicted of murder for shooting two people that broke into his home, even if his conduct was revolting during and after the act.
