Red Sox prospect LHP Henry Owens was shaky once again in his start Sunday, allowing six earned runs on nine hits in five innings.
The 21-year-old issued three walks and struck out four batters in the outing. Owens was brilliant in his first two starts this season (highlighted by a rain-shortened no-hitter on Opening Day), posting an 18/2 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 12 2/3 scoreless innings. Since then, however, the left-hander owns a 6.75 ERA and 11/11 strikeout-to-walk ratio over his last three starts.
