I took a ferry from Rhodes to Marmaris. Taxi to Dalaman airport to Istanbul.
Istanbul was cool, but was only there on a long weekend. Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque are VERY COOL STORY BRO.
Didn't get to see the archaeological sites on the peninsula near Izmir and all that, but its a fascinating country.
They don't speak English very well like the Greeks, be prepared.
Would highly recommend going.

I flew into the Dalaman airport at midnight and we had to wait for our shuttle to get there. When we realized it wasn't close to being there we were like what the hell have we gotten ourselves into?
