after thinking about it, this is going to be really interesting for cal and kentucky next year. they are gonna be old as shite. no more young and inexperienced narrative.
also, can we kill the "cal gets guys to the nba" narrative? ive said that before but these coaches are nowhere near as important at getting elite guys to the league as people seem to think. unless you wanna believe that cal somehow didn't appropriately prepare poythress, WCS, johnson, and the harrison twins for the nba, which would make you an idiot.

Why would we do that when he's going to potenially put two in the lottery?
The narrative that growth doesn't happen under Cal is just as "dumb" if we're throwing out narratives.
