When I called the guy was pretty sketchy about it. I asked what I needed to be guaranteed baseball tickets and basketball upgrade. He kept responding "what do you want to give?".

I tried to explain that I'm not going to just give arbitrarily and sit in the gap as the same person who gave $100. From what I can tell $2,500 gets you basically the same thing as $100.

I understand that's probably what they have to say to maximize donation but someone off the street like me with 0 points it's not too helpful.

The best I got out of him was $2,500 "gets you in range for baseball tickets."'

Well that's all fine and dandy but I told him I know somebody right now that gave $100 for the first time this year and has 3 tickets in RF due to some lottery. Why would I give $2500 or $5000 if some slapdick gives $100 gets priority through some lottery.

The whole thing confuses the hell out of me.

When you think about it, it's a moving target for the cutoff rank of tickets because people keep accumulating pts, so there is no set rank that guarantees tickets. They should know the results each year though and if they'd share that information it'd help new guys like yourself make an educated decision.

Are those results published anywhere or is it usually word of mouth for the required rankings?

Also what kind of lottery was that for tickets?? I was under the impression it is all assigned based on pts

I haven't heard of a lottery since bowl game assignments back in the early 2000s.
