Another reason a lot less black kids play baseball is because it is traditionally a father-son sport. The lack of traditional father figures in the black community has added to this as well. B-ball is cheap. All you need is a ball and a goal and a kid can get really good at shooting hoops all by himself at the nearest park or his driveway. This is one of the reasons why blacks have dominated B-ball for so long.
