Yep. Ask the people in North Dakota about what the economy is like up there due to all of these workers.

And I agree that it is sad that we have to bring in out of country workers. I'm sure some of it is that our people are not skilled, but alot of it is just lazy people not wanting to work.

As long as they play it smart and don't build a community to accommodate for a temporary population spike. Looking at you Odessa, tx. They are always hiring bc they built up the area so much but everyone left when the plant work cooled Down. They pay $16 an hour to work at mcdonalds and never have more than a few sections open in restaurants bc 1. they can't staff all their businesses properly. And 2. They don't have as many customers as they did.

Nearby Gas stations and mom and pop restaurants will make a killing. Along with bars, strip clubs and other sources if entertainment. Hell, the meals on wheels/roach coach type deals make bank with that many people.
