Pushing 60. Been divorced for over 7 years. Have dated in 30's, 40's, and 50's. No way I was going to touch something in their 20's as my daughter is in her mid 20's. Figured out that I felt the same way about those in their 30's. There was just simply too much of a gap and the kid either did not know what she wanted out of life or she "thought" she was attracted to the social status (I am a licensed clinician). Anyway, I decided that 20's and 30's were out. Another thing about those two decades is that those girls at some point want a baby. Raised two of my own and am richer for the experience. However, I am too old to be bringing up another child from infancy, and in all candor, it is not fair to the kid either. Good chance that if someone was pregnant for me tomorrow that I would not live to see the kid graduate from high school. So, no more kids. 40's are iffy. Latter mid 40's aren't too bad in that most of them have had their tubes tied or a hysterectomy, and they have lived enough life to know what to appreciate. Early 50's are a little better in that we can identify with the same music and history, and most of them have gone through their middle age crisis, which I don't want to be around again. It's been a work in progress, but I have had the opportunity to learn what will work as well as not work for me when it comes to dating. Marriage? Was married for 27 years before the ex went batshit crazy on me and left me with a home and two kids to finish raising. So it goes without saying that I do not plan on remarrying again. I think I have done my time.
