I agree, signing Goodwin would be a different situation. I'm just playing devil's advocate about a Center at 27. We also have to remember we only get the rankings that the media gives us. If the team has Richburg rated in their top 40, I wouldn't be upset to use 27 to grab him and fill our last glaring need. Especially if he's the next Alex Mack.

I could see that. It would still surprise me, but I can see it.
I actually joked that if anyone would go all Cowboys in the first and draft a center it would be us and everyone would flip out. It's definitely possible. Just would be a surprise.
