re: just got contact lens. Is headache/dry eye normal ?

I've been a contact wearer for over 10 years and never had a single issue with contacts till I went to a new doctor and they recommended switching to air optix. Immediately went back to oasys and haven't had any issues. Before that was in oasys, avaira, and a acuvue 2 to begin. Never had issues with any of the others even though they are differently designed lenses.

I'm not saying that the brand is causing the issues, but it shouldn't be a problem to ask the doc to try a sample of a different brand if it persists.

Eta just sucks if you've already purchased a big supply (which I would strongly advise against until at least a few weeks of trial pair)
