The Honorable William Jefferson Clinton was elected the Forty-Second President of the United States in 1992. During the administration of President Clinton, the U.S. enjoyed more peace and economic wellbeing than at any time in its history. He was the first Democratic president since Franklin D. Roosevelt to win a second term. He could point to the lowest unemployment rate in modern times, the lowest inflation in 30 years, the highest home ownership in the country's history, dropping crime rates in many places, and reduced welfare rolls.

In high school, he met President John Kennedy in the White House Rose Garden. The encounter led him to enter a life of public service. He graduated from Georgetown University and in 1968 won a Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford University. He also received a law degree from Yale University in 1973, and entered politics in his home states of Arkansas. President Clinton was elected Arkansas Attorney General in 1976, and won the governorship in 1978.

The Clinton Presidency effected change and positively influenced the United States reputation on the world stage, successfully dispatching peace keeping forces to war-torn Bosnia and influencing Iraq when Saddam Hussein stopped United Nations nuclear and biological inspections. He became a global proponent for an expanded NATO, more open international trade and a worldwide campaign against drug trafficking. He drew huge crowds when he traveled through South America, Europe, Russia, Africa, and China, advocating U.S. style freedom.

After leaving the White House, President Clinton established the William J. Clinton Foundation, with the mission to improve global health, strengthen economies, promote healthier childhoods, and protect the environment by fostering partnerships among governments, businesses, nongovernmental organizations, and private citizens to turn good intentions into measurable results. Throughout the Foundation’s history and growth, Secretary Clinton and Chelsea offered their voice, vision, and counsel. To recognize their past contributions and acknowledge their role in shaping the Foundation’s future, the Foundation was renamed the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation.

In addition to his Foundation work, President Clinton has joined with former President George H.W. Bush three times – after the 2004 tsunami in South Asia, Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and Hurricane Ike in 2008, and with President George W. Bush in Haiti in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake. Today the Clinton Foundation supports economic growth, job creation, and sustainability in Haiti.

Hmmm. Doesn't mention disbarment, or jacking off in the Oval Office.
