While I personally would never own a pit, simply because Im not a fan of terriers...the vast majority of attacks reported as pitbull attacks are NOT pitbulls.

The majority of the dogs reported are well outside the weight range of an actual pit.

The only dog Ive ever been legitimately attacked by was a lab.

Also had two lab mixes we had to put down becaause they were violent...though we adopted them at eight weeks and raised them right.

I certainly dont go around screaming that labs are violent evil animals.

It isnt the breed, its the media attributing evey dog attack to a pitbull.

People also talk of banning my american bulldogs too, ad a more harmless pair of idiots the world has never seen.
