Sounds like a great fricking idea, I'm sure nothing bad will happen.
You're consuming the same compounds. Genetically modifying an organism's nucleic acid doesn't introduce any foreign compounds - it simply alters the genotype such that the resultant protein confers resistance against a given selective pressure.

want to have the least chance of cancer, move to the country and eat only home grown foods. and stay away from french fries aka cancer fries.
