Where do the subsidies (a cute word for other people's money paying for your health insurance) come from?

I have employee provided health insurance. My out of pocket for my kids and I which includes dental and a lot of riders is around $250 a month.

My insurance under Obamacare would be $800 a month just for basic coverage. Is that where the money is supposed to come from? It isn't going to come from people like me because I have a good job, make good middle class money and have employer provided insurance.

This entire thing is just a cluster frick.

What is the funding source for the subsidies?

It's a shell game. They're taking money out of Medicare to partially subsidize the same people's Obamacare. They were also hoping that young, healthy people would join and overpay because it's the cool thing to do and further subsidize the old and indigent.

So. Put another way. The whole concept of the bill as described has completely blown up. The only people signing up are the ones who are getting other people's money to do it but, the source of other people's money(premiums from full payers) has not arrived.

So. Guess where that shortfall will come from.
