sac bunting if men are on or striking out if the bases are empty. Sure, theres the occasional guy like Zambrano who has the novelty of running into some here and there. And you lose the aspect of pulling a pitcher in favor of a pinch hitter when the 9 spot comes up late in a game. But over the course of a season, those aspects are somewhat minute when a series of sub .200 hitters are replaced by a capable hitter.
